Congratulations to Shakib Al Hasan

This is one of the great moments for Bangladeshi cricket as Shakib Al Hasan has topped the list of ICC’s Top 10 ODI all-rounders. Bangladeshi crickets have made their ways in the ICC top ten list for both ODI and Test in past but this is the first time someone is ranked number 1.

As you can see (screenshot taken from ICC’s official website) Shakib is ranked with 380 points followed by New Zealand’s Jacob Oram and England’s Andrew Flintoff. Shakib also ranks 10 in the list of top 10 Test all-rounders, which is not bad at all. He is younge and performing really well for Bangladesh. I really hope that he keeps up the performance and do the best things for Bangladesh cricket team. I wish him all the best and congratulations.

LinkMeIn – my new class released

Today my new class LinkMeIn was released on PHPClasses.org. I have developed this class about couple of months back but did not have enough time to sit and arrange the files to upload on PHPClasses.org. After Grab Yahoo and MySpace Profile Updater classes this is my third class for same type. This class allows any registered LinkedIn.com user to enter their login information and get the contact list. The list is returned as an array or RSS 2.0 format.

I will update LinkMeIn class in future to add more functionalities to it. For the time being if you want to test it, please visit the LinkMeIn Demo location. To report any bug please use PHPClasses.org Support Forum and if you want to contact me directly please go to the Contact section.

Javascript: Select Multiple Dropdown Items

If you would like to have a multiple select dropdown and want to use the selection in a specified format, then here is the solution. Sometimes you may need to create a query string value or fill in a textbox or textarea with the selected values. Say for example you have a dropdown list where you can select multiple items. Upon selecting each option you want to fill in a textarea with the selected value.

Example:

HTML Part:

Among the list of 20 personally I like “Ami Banglai Gaan Gai”; ranked 6th in the list. No matter how many times I listen to the song, I never get bored of it. If I were to submit my favorite 5 songs, my list would have been:
