It was not planned. On Thursday night (17th August) both families decided to get on with the engagement ceremony. My parents and I went for some shopping, bought a beautiful ring for Tithi. We all prepared the gifts and stuffs bought for the ceremony purpose, made sure if everything was in the right order. Then we went down to her house.

After waiting for about 30 or 40 minutes Tithi got ready in Saree that we bought for her. I was asked to wear the Panjabi that Tithi”s parents gave me. Finally we exchanged the rings as a symbol of togetherness and trust. I hope to come back soon to get married. Inshallah everything will go smoothly and with joy.

I don”t want to Thank you family nor Tithi”s family for accepting our (Tithi and mine) relationship which is now almost 5 and a half year long. Because their support deserves a lot more than a simple words like “Thank You”. I don”t think I have any word or anything at all to show my gratitude to all of them. I can only say I love my family and glad to have such in-law family.
